TalkBand B1: Huawei first wearable device

MWC 2014 was going to go ultra portable devices. Huawei has announced its first ‘wearable’ device, the TalkBand B1, it is a wristwatch with a wireless headset with Bluetooth 4.1 which allows up to seven hours calls and monitor uptime and progress, including steps, kilometers traveled and calories burned, and record the duration and quality of sleep.

With only 26 grams and 14.6 millimeters thick, this device fits nicely on the wrist. It will be available in China beginning in March, and in Japan, the Middle East, Russia and Western Europe in the second quarter of 2014.

The Chinese manufacturer has also introduced mobile wifi device E5786 LTE Cat6, which, in opinion, marks the beginning of a new era in LTE-advanced connectivity, thanks to its speed up to 300 Mbps.

These industry-leading speeds, have highlighted how Huawei executives in the press conference, let download a movie in high definition in just 30 seconds or upload a video to YouTube in 5 or 6 seconds. Huawei e5786 will be available in selected markets in Europe, Australia, Middle East and Russia from May.
