In the hands of Tim Cook saw the new iPhone 6S, the expected renewal of the Apple TV and the rumored iPad Pro, a new device is added to the family of Apple tablets and noted for a diagonal of 12.9″ and internal specifications as similar to a laptop to the classic concept of tablet that we have in mind.

iPad Pro

Along with its new tablet, the Cupertino company has introduced a new wireless keyboard and Apple Pencil, a stylus which bears the signature of the house and with which the company promises to make the most professional applications such as Photoshop and others.

The internal specifications of the iPad Pro put the new “Apple creature” to a level very similar to the Microsoft Surface, although we must not forget that while the first is still being governed by iOS, the second gives users the full experience of work with Windows 10. What features can we find? As highlights the following:

  • Display: 12.9-inch widescreen Multi-Touch
  • Resolution: 2,732 by 2,048 pixels
  • SoC: 64-bit Apple A9X and M9 are motion coprocessors
  • RAM: 2 GB
  • Storage: 32 or 128 GB SSD
  • Camera: 8 MP iSight rear and FaceTime 1.2 MP front

IPad Pro prices start at the $799 (Wi-Fi 32GB). But if we want a more complete experience, including the physical keyboard and the Apple Pencil, we must invest a minimum of $1,069. The most complete model (4G, 128 GB more, Keyboard and Apple Pencil) raises the price of set up the $1,347.

We therefore see the new iPad Pro dedicated to a niche primarily professional, focused on users who require a very high level of mobility, and let’s not forget, are willing to give up some of the advanced features that are obtained from an OS desktop, as a complete file management, true multitasking (even if in iOS) progress has been made in this respect), working with various desktops or integration with peripherals such as disk drives or external USB.

On the other hand the quality of the display and can work with an accessory such as the “Apple Pencil” they can become an indispensable ally for photographers, architects, engineers and graphic designers, who can literally take this iPad Pro a second work table.
