Technology advances unsuspected steps for solutions and comfort of life. In this regard, Google announced an important agreement with the Swiss Novartis laboratory to pursue a smart contact lens that will soon be able to measure the level of glucose in people.
In January this year Google had made the presentation of a prototype that contains a number of tiny sensors that are associated with a radio frequency antenna so small that its size is extremely smaller than the size of a hair.
The agreement with Alcon, eye products section of Novartis, was to begin developing these lenses in the short term, and certainly stands out as a possible solution to visual disorders and diabetes, which are among the most common health problems in man.
