The availability of many mobile electronic devices allow users to stay connected anytime, anywhere, but this advantage also carries some accessories that are often essential to maximize their benefits. USB cables, chargers and additional storage units are some of the tools that are not always present when needed.
To avoid such situations, Gokey keychain is presented as an electronic multi-purpose penknife with various benefits: brings together on the same attachment a charger for cell phone, a USB cable to connect to the iPhone or Android smartphone and a Bluetooth locator, along a storage unit of 8, 16 or 32 GB capacity.
Its design is adapted to accompany a set of keys, and works with an alert system via Bluetooth for forgetful people, a function that also serves to find a mobile phone synchronized with Gokey. Its internal battery is modest, 400 mAh, but its creators are detailed enough to provide about two hours of use for emergencies.
Gokey will cost from $59 in its 8GB model and will be available in two versions, with Lightning Apple connector or a USB micro cable used in most mobile phones in the market.
However, the project is still in the stage of raising funds through the joint financing system of Indiegogo, but just beat the fundraising goal. It is estimated that its launch will be early next year.
