Dropbox and Box, two of the many online file storage services that are available, updated their Android applications.
Dropbox now lets you preview files in Word, PowerPoint and PDF within the mobile application, i.e. without having to download and view them with another application. According to the company, the internal file search was also improved, and adds the possibility to share read-only folders.
Box, meanwhile, already offers a preview to PDF and other formats into its application, and introduced Notes for Android. This tool was already available on the Web and iOS, and allows you to create text files and lists (in format) are automatically saved as separate files in folders Box.com, something that can already be done with Dropbox with multiple third-party applications.
