Sway, the alternative to Powerpoint, is now available


Although already available in mobile versions and web since last August 5, all the users of Windows 10 already can be downloaded for free Sway, the new tool of the Office suite that Microsoft was working.

To access it is necessary to have a Microsoft account that allows us to connect to the web Sway.com or login in Sway app for Windows 10 or for iPhone and iPad. In that sense, Sway is available for PCs and tablets but not yet for smartphones, which will have to wait a little longer for this new application.

This alternative to Powerpoint is equipped with an intelligent engine design that allows it to offer high quality content regardless of the device on which are displayed, whether smartphones, tablets, laptops or desktop computers and even Surface Hub. Since Microsoft have confirmed that during his time in Preview version have been added new features such as multi-user collaboration and own photo cropping options.

Other enhancements that presents the final version of Sway, users can use in their creations images taken with the camera directly from their Windows device. In addition, and although some elements of Sway need Internet connection, such as interactive maps or the use of videos hosted on the cloud, you can download offline creations in order to show them when there is an available network connection. Also, Microsoft has developed a new design in the navigation pane showing different groupings of images, texts, videos, tweets, etc. on the screen simultaneously.
