Various security firms detect a group of viruses or malware that affects iPhone and iPads with jailbreak, i.e. those unlocked computers to install applications not approved by Apple.

KeyRaider

The so-called ‘KeyRaider’ has managed to steal more than 225,000 official accounts of Apple, and it is considered the largest theft of Apple accounts in the history of the company based in Palo Alto, California.

KeyRaider intercepts communications devices with IOS operating system, either iTunes or App Store, stealing information from users, such as shopping, banking information, or disables local remote unlocking for iPhone or iPad.

At the moment, most of the cases are in China, although cases have also been found in Spain, France, United Kingdom, Israel, Russia, Japan and the United States, among others.
