Google will launch smart contact lenses
Technology advances unsuspected steps for solutions and comfort of life. In this regard, Google announced an important agreement with the Swiss Novartis laboratory to pursue a smart contact lens that will soon be able to measure the level of glucose in people.
In January this year Google had made the presentation of a prototype that contains a number of tiny sensors that are associated with a radio frequency antenna so small that its size is extremely smaller than the size of a hair.
The agreement with Alcon, eye products section of Novartis, was to begin developing these lenses in the short term, and certainly stands out as a possible solution to visual disorders and diabetes, which are among the most common health problems in man.
